A what-ington?

Thousands of hours spent pouring schooners, and until this evening I never knew the glass below had a specific name. To me, it's always just been the "nugget" - short and stocky. Apparently not.


Like anybody known as "Nugget", this particular schooner glass also has a real name. "Washington". Do the parents of schooner glasses only use the formal name when addressing a misbehaving beer receptacle? "WASHINGTON! WHERE'S YOUR HEAD?!"


I'll shut up now.


It has a name: The Washington Glass. That's what I learned today.
